  • Council Advisory - NOTICE IS SERVED - Residents are reminded that municipal taxes are past due.  Those who are not paid in full on Sept. 30 can expect to have water shut off at any time starting Oct. 1.  No further payment plans will be considered and no further written notice will be given. Residents currently on a payment plan may disregard this notice.

  • Sept. 13 - 6:30 Community Center - the Garnish Girl's Group will be starting their 3rd year on September 13th @ 6:30pm in the Dart Room. All girl's are welcome! For details contact Corina Thorne @ 826-2251 or find me on Facebook.

Introducing  “Cyber Camp.” A place for all kids to learn computer basics while having fun.

 Ages: 4  -  12

EVERY FRIDAY!

2  -  4 pm.

Come along for a fun time!

  • Council Advisory - Residents and non residents are reminded that the Garnish Property Standards By-Law (April 2010) Section General Property Requirements # 2 states as follows: 

            2. A residential property shall not have growth of weeds and grass that are
                detrimental to the appearance of the property, and that are not being cut regularly,
                and are excessive when compared with neighbouring properties.

           Nonresidents, and residents who do not wish to mow their own grass, can take advantage of a

             grass mowing service.  If this regulation is ignored, penalties will apply.


  • Posted April 16 - Trust Fund Set Up - A Balsom Emergency Trust Fund has been setup at the Bank of  Nova Scotia in Marystown. Donations can be made at any branch.
