Funding Partners

The Burin Peninsula Trailway is the result of much time and effort by

Heritage Run Tourism Association Strategic Trails Development Committee.

Trails in the Project were put in place starting in 1994  by volunteers from the various Trail Association

along the Trailway.

Funding for the new construction to link those trails and to create the present Trailway came from

National Trailways Coalition (NTC)

and

Department of Tourism, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador
